I’ve really got to blog about more than just picking different fruits. Turns out though that some of my favorite pictures we ever get are from when we are out and about at Treworgy farms. I find the place to be really calming and there are like TWO new baby goats so- SOLD. They opened for their apple picking this past Labor Day weekend and we were all about it! We did the corn maze and hay ride this time too. I feel like you can learn about people when it comes to how they navigate a corn maze. It really points out certain parts of their psyche. Turns out Derek is the kind to leave and walk around the outside then enter at different points and I’m a more deep in the woods navigator. I’m sure there’s a metaphor there somewhere. Julian is a RUNNER, a leave-everyone-in-dust-and-try-and-loose-his-parents-so-they-panic-that-they-may-have-lost-their-child- type. It was so fun. Having two whole days with these to is a very rare occurrence. We had thought about spending a night somewhere and making a mini trip out of it, but I’m so glad we decided to just stay home and relax with each other. After this it’s back to the school schedule, activities every night, and crazy work hours. Taking this bit of time to just be with one another in a place we know was perfect.
Every year we say it, but every year it rings so true, summer went by so. fast. If I gotta say goodbye though I decided I might as well say hello to fall. So here we are fall! Arms wide open! Show us what you got :).
