It’s no secret to this blog that we love our seasonal fruit picking. Here you can find our blueberry, pumpkin and apple picking pictures right here. There’s something so sweet and relaxing about it that I can’t get enough of. This year we added strawberries into the mix and headed over to Treworgy Family Orchards Saturday morning to get while the gettin’ was good. They open at 8am and then close when they are all picked out. They posted yesterday on their facebook page that there’s a ton of strawberries to be picked still. We went early (around 9) after seeing through their page announcements they are were usually all out around noon. It was a really scenic and fun time and I love these pictures we took while there. Julian was drawn to all the unusual shaped berries and with the guidance of Derek (he always surprises me with his fruit picking knowledge) developed quite a good berry picking eye. I hope you get the chance to pick some berries yourself this season!
